Deliverable Video Source Format

Seamless

To make a really engaging and entertaining interactive video, you need to create your project in a way that viewers will feel like they’re watching one continuous video with smooth transitions on choices and connections. Meaning, the video stream will appear as frictionless as a linear video would.

High Quality

Due to the nature of the encoding process, the encoded segments will always lose some of the quality from their original source format. The higher the resolution and bitrate of your source files is, the better is the quality of the encoded video – even if your encoded files are lower quality to allow for easy, smooth playback.

Recommended Input

A variety of video formats can be encoded into IVDs in the studio or by using the cli tool.
The following recommended setting guarantee a seamless, high quality video stream results.

Make sure that files are sized in a 16:9 ratio, and the resolution is at least as high as the one you plan on encoding to, if not higher.
