Setup Instructions: Fastly

Follow these instructions to configure an origin domain for your Fastly service.

The example here uses our AWS S3 Bucket (i.e. storage.interlude.fm.s3.amazonaws.com) as an origin server, but you can link to your own AWS S3 Bucket (or alternate Web server) as long as it is configured properly.

  • Log in to Fastly. Click the “Configure” wrench icon at the top of the page.

  • Click the green “New Service” button and a setup screen opens.
  • Fill out the fields as follows:
    • Enter the name of your new service in the “Name” field.
    • Add IP address 54.231.97.17 in the “Origin Server Address” field. Leave port number as 80.
    • Enter storage.interlude.fm.s3.amazonaws.com in the “Domain Name” field.

  • Click the “Create” button. The new service appears in the list of services available.
